As a Solitary Soldier, this Scout's duty is to guard the Gate of Time, through which time travel is possible. Ordinarily, it's forbidden for her to leave her sworn post, and since rarely anyone ever travels through time, she doesn't have a whole lot of visitors.

Ever since the time of the Silver Millennium, she has held down this lonely post. Her crush on King Endymion could possibly be due to the fact that he's the only man that she's ever met, let alone known! After all of this BS, she was finally allowed to leave her post for a while, but that was only when her help was needed in the fight against the Death Busters, and again in the fight against Nepherenia and Galaxia, returning to Earth as Trista (aka Setsuna) Meioh. Pluto herself seems to sympathize a lot more with the original five Scouts, therefore she doesn't really set herself apart from them like Uranus and Neptune do.
