Batsu Ichimonji

Cross-cuttin' our way back to Capcom's Rival Schools series, there's another character that's been on my mind for quite some time - the main protag of the game, he's a kind-hearted, justice-bound Taiyo High transfer student (despite his foul-mouthed, belligerent, and impulsive nature) searching for his mother.

Joined by his peers Hinata Wakaba (whom I'll do very soon) and Kyosuke Kagami ([link]), Batsu finds the person responsible for his mom's disappearance, and it turns out that it was his long-lost dad, Raizo.

His individual ending in the game reveals that he saves his mom and in turn, both parents make peace with themselves. He even made an appearance in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom as a playable character, as well as a cameo in Capcom vs. SNK 2 w/ Hinata during Kyosuke's "Final Symphony" Super Combo. Let's all give a warm welcome to the absent-minded yet straightforward........Batsu Ichimonji!!
