Emerging from the late, great Osamu Tezuka's widely-popular sci-fi manga/anime/media franchise, everyone's favorite synthetic kid has been going full circle worldwide throughout the ages. Fashioned after Tobio Tenma (aka Astor Boynton III), he possesses the strength of 100,000 horsepower (later 1,000,000) and the heart of gold.

Possessing 7 amazing powers: flight, multiple languages, analytical skills, headlight eyes, strength, hidden weapons in his back and the ability to determine right & wrong. In addition he has a built-in geiger counter and radio system plus hypersensitive hearing. He's usually looked after by his recent creator Prof. Ochanomizu/Elefun - in the hopes and assurance that both humans and robots should live together in peace - and Uran (aka Astro Girl) is his naive yet extremely-powerful sister.
